Athens, Georgia – What was supposed to be a simple morning run turned out to be a murder on the University of Athen, Georgia, campus.
Classes were canceled on campus Thursday after the news spread about the death of the former UGA student that was taking medical classes nearby. The student has been identified as, Laken Hope Riley. Her murderer has yet to be identified.
Authorities believe that Riley did not know her murderer and the murder was most likely a crime of opportunity.
