English pop star Elton John has been calling the city of Atlanta home for years now. So long, in fact, that John had purchased and maintained a condo in Buckhead since the early 90s.
After 30 years, John has decided to retire from music and stop touring. And now that he is no longer touring, he no longer needs the one residence in the United States that he has always called home. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Rodney Ho, John will be returning to England with his husband David Furnish and their two kids, Zachary and Elijah.
John has listed his condominium for sale. A total of six units have been combined to create one. John initially purchased the first unit in the 90s and gradually added other available units to create a spacious, luxurious paradise in Buckhead.
The condo is represented by Chase Mizell of Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty. For the asking price of $4,995,000, the condo has four bedrooms, four full and three partial bathrooms, and is a total of 13,332 sq ft.
