The CNN Center slowly becomes vacant as employees are transferred to the Midtown location or to New York City. You will find photos of abandoned press rooms, empty break rooms, conference rooms now used as storage, packed-up computers and equipment that will be donated, and more.
Perhaps the biggest landmark in downtown Atlanta, the city is losing one of its most well-known attractions not only to tourists, but to also locals that enjoyed the CNN Center as a regular hangout spot to grab something to eat while in the area.
There is no word as of yet what will become of the building.
