Shots Fired: Brad Raffensperger Enters the 2026 Ad War
The Secretary of State takes aim at “Hunters” Jones and Jackson in new campaign spot.
InSecretary of State Brad Raffensperger has officially entered the campaign attack ad race, shifting the dynamics of the 2026 GOP primary. For the past several weeks, Georgia voters have watched a relentless back-and-forth between the state’s other two biggest contenders for governor: Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones and billionaire healthcare executive Rick Jackson. Jones and Jackson have been going head-to-head with new ads each week, with Jones accusing Jackson of fraud and Jackson labeling Jones a political insider profiting from his office.

However, Raffensperger has now stepped directly into the battle ring with a new commercial titled “Clay Pigeons.” In this latest spot, he calls out both Jones and Jackson by name, depicting them as incompetent “hunters” who talk a big game but fail to hit their targets. By releasing this ad, Raffensperger is pivoting from his previous focus on policy to directly challenge the effectiveness and records of his two main opponents.
