A day of celebrating Atlanta
April… The fourth month of the year, and the day of the 4th, the fourth day in a calendar month is more commonly known to Atlantans as “404 Day.” The 404 area code was Atlanta’s first official area code, and is now recognized as an annual official celebration on April 4th to celebrate the city of Atlanta.
Not only is April 4th a day of celebrating Atlanta, but here at A.T.L. News it’s our official kickoff date for Atlanta’s “Funnel Cake Season.” Funnel Cake Season kicks off seven months of festivals almost every weekend in the metropolitan area that gives anyone the perfect excuse to eat funnel cake!!!
