About The A.T.L.
Art, Trade & Lifestyle
Welcome to The A.T.L. Story Commons
The A.T.L. is a story commons platform that utilizes documentaries, short films, episodic series, podcasts, feature films, and more, alongside the power of professional journalism, to share the stories behind current events and everyday life. We connect people, businesses, and communities through their experiences and invite them to take part in sharing their own stories.
Everyone has a story to share… What’s yours?
Built on the belief that everyone has a story
The A.T.L. began as an Atlanta web magazine in 2008. That beginning grew from a simple belief: people, businesses, and communities deserve opportunities to share their experiences and be part of the conversation. Today, that purpose guides our development as a story commons, a shared platform connecting journalism, entertainment, culture, community, and commerce.
Our roots remain in the Atlanta area, with our headquarters in Belvedere Park, Georgia. Through Art, Trade & Lifestyle Media Group, we are building connections between local perspectives and the wider stories that shape our lives.
Professional journalism at the heart of the conversation
A.T.L. N.E.W.S. is the news and current-events arm of The A.T.L. Story Commons. Our national hub and state bureaus connect public affairs, business, technology, entertainment, sports, education, real estate, and lifestyle with the people and communities behind the headlines.
Our editorial commitment is to verify information, identify sources, and make clear distinctions between reporting, opinion, and sponsored content. We want readers to understand what happened, why it matters, and how it connects to everyday life. Our public news coverage remains free to read.
More ways to experience a story
A story can unfold through a news article, a documentary, a conversation, or a work of fiction. The A.T.L. SuperStation brings our available original screen productions and video together, while our developing slate includes short films, episodic series, podcasts, and feature films.
Black History Media is being developed for documentary storytelling, cultural history, and educational resources. Across these properties, available work and projects in development each contribute to the broader Story Commons experience.
A community that can take part
We welcome story ideas, firsthand experiences, community perspectives, and opportunities to collaborate. People can help us discover stories, businesses can introduce the people and ideas behind their work, and communities can bring attention to the issues and experiences that matter to them.
ArtTradeLifestyle.com is the community home and member account starting point for The A.T.L. Story Commons. Member profiles, digital business cards, preferences, and connected services are being developed through an invitation-only pilot. Visit the platform for current participation and account information.
Local roots, a wider horizon
Our current state bureau websites serve Georgia, California, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, and Illinois. We are strengthening those editions while working toward our end-of-2027 goal of 50 U.S. state bureaus, supported by four U.S. regional bureaus, alongside seven continental bureaus.
Explore our State & Continental Bureaus directory to see what is available now and what we are developing. New bureau launches and coverage additions will be announced as they become available.
